Q: Is this a young professional organization?

A: Our members tend to be between 25-40 but there is not a requirement.  It seems that many members work in sales, marketing or managerial positions but we welcome new members from almost any job level or classification. Our group’s focus is on building business and social connections and to do that effectively it is best to be open to contacts from a broad range of individuals.

Q: Is Pillars affiliated with any other groups?

A: Pillars began as a part of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce.  In 2016, Pillars became an independent organization.  Pillars shares a commitment with many community groups and organizations and from time to time will partner with those groups to make more of an impact on our projects  and in the community.

Q: When is the Wing Crawl?

A: The Wing Crawl has become our main fundraiser and fun event and is usually held at the end of summer. This year it was held on August 20th. To get some background on this event click here.  

Q: How do I become a member?

A: Joining Pillars of Lakewood is easy.  You may join online.  We do not have requirement of residency or age.  After you submit your membership application you will b e taken to PayPal so you can pay your first year’s dues of $30.00.   No PayPal account is required and all major credit cards are accepted.
